| The brightest room is a project made up of two albums (but I am thinking about a third!) I recorded with some friends at the Swanlake Studios from December 22nd, 2015 till June 2016. We put "on tape" 16 tracks that are divided in two LPs: Exit is the first one, then on spring 2019 "Run", the second LP will follow.
Exit Exit (except the track "Gone") is made up of songs I wrote from 1984 till 1987 and originally should have been composed for my band "The Impulsive Youth", then they remained in the drawer for about 28 years till finally I decided to bring them on the light. The Brightest Room is started mainly as a "solo" project but then evolved as a real band, I think it's boring to put out a record with my name so you can think there's a band playing and this make things more appealing! Run While "Exit" is an album mainly composed with the bass in the 80's, the songs of second LP "Run" have been composed after 2012 on guitar and there is a more mature approach. With the new line up we are working together as a real band where everyone contributes with his ideas and after the second album a third one would be in sight. The brightest room songs are written for people who love the rain and black and white pictures and movies. Valo
